Tournament prospectus

World Archery Indoor Series - December 2020, held on 19th December 2020.

Rounds

WRS WA 18m round

Event Format

WA18m rounds to be shot in accordance with World Archery Rules of Shooting and current Archery GB COVID guidance. Arrows will be shot in ends of 3 arrows in 2 minutes. There will be two archers per boss shooting in two details. Archers may choose a 40cm full or triple face.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top compound and recurve scores for gents and ladies. Other awards subject to entry, and in WA age groups.

Dress code is according to the AGB Rules of Shooting

Drug testing

Archers competing at record status tournaments may be liable to drug testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply. Non-compliance will be treated as a positive result. Parents/Guardians must check the relevant box on the entry form giving consent for junior archers (under 18s) to be drug tested if approached.

Important information

Timing

Registration opens 9am. ArcheryGB cards will be required. Do not enter the venue until instructed by a member of the work party.

There are three sessions, at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm. Each session has 10 spaces.

Venue

The tournament will take place at our indoor venue at Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, OX10 0SW. We are shooting in the barn next to the car park.

Refreshments

No refreshments will be available.

Entry is open to all ArcheryGB members and members of other World Archery Affiliated bodies.
